I always thought about building a fullering tool like this, but never could pin down a design. Never could settle on what size for the dies, and how to make it. A Couple of friends I know from another forum, Formalized they're shop into a school and now into a smithing tools business, Yesteryear Forge, and they came up with a design. Problem solved, I could not make one of these as nice for the same price haha. Similar to the "godzilla" guillotine tool some smiths use. Has a nice adjustable depth stop, swings out of the way when not in use.

Nice hardened pin to keep the hardy shank from rotating!

Nice grab Sam!!!

When I first saw the pics, I thought, "That sure looks like Mike Tanner's."

:o LOL, I didn't realize that was the name of his company.

Mike's was the inspiration for the one that I made! :)

And I agree 100% Sam--- you can't build one that nice, for that price!!!
