Hi, we do still have a few of these in stock and available to ship.

Is the Hisshou made in China or Taiwan? I thought all CRKT was made in Taiwan. MIne doesn't say China on the tang.

Oh and any info on YK-30?

CRKT is making some knives in China now, including the Hisshou. They are generally not marking the tangs on these knives, and are placing a small sticker on the box indicating that these were made in China.

YK-30 is high carbon tool steel similar to O2. More information regarding its properties can be found on CRKT's website here:

Thanks, I got an email from CRKT and they said what you did. I'm glad it at least its not stamped China on it. Knife is well made though so I have to give them credit for that though I try not to buy Chinnese the fact is anything that is affordable these days seems to be made in China.

Hi Maxx,

Sorry, but we only ship within the US and Canada for the time being.

Ya know GPK I was thinking. If you started shipping international you could do a world of good for the USA's foreign relations. Because if you treat the world as fair and good as we in the U.S. and Canada we may just see peace in our time. :)

Disclaimer: The poster of this message has been spoiled by GPK and is therefore a bit of a GPK fanboy. :D :o

cannot understand why many us sellers do not want to ship internationally, I know that there may be problems BUT I have around 200-300 transactions with us sellers, never had problems, once only but the guy did not ship and it is another story...

We do have plans to ship internationally in the future, the main problems lie in the fact that there is very little if any repurcussion on our end should we receive a fraudulent order overseas.

Customs seizing knives, chargebacks, etc. All make for a big headache on the retail end of things.

well I can assure you that I am an honest person, my feedback on various forums, ebay and such can prove it, I'm a knife lover not a thief

I received probably 100 and more knives from the USA, never got one seized, just pack it right as I may ask, declaring camping tools (wich they actually are) works
custom fees are not aproblem if you declare a "fair" amount

If you accept to ship one, i'll take the responsibility.

been looking for a g10 NW, like my normale one, would love to have both

cheers

Mad Max,

I was on the phone with a US dealer that ships International. They carry a lot of stuff. Email me if you want their name.

They told me today of stories that would make me consider not shipping International as well. This company lost thousands of US dollars and it had nothing to do with the integrity of the buyer.

Since yesterday, I’m hearing a lot of bad experiences with customs.

I know EU customs and the italian ones specifically are not the best but in 2-200 transactions I learned how it works
if you pack it correctly with the address stamped big or at least not too small, declare cutlery or tools, not "toys" or "gift" for about 50usd not 10 than...99,9% or even 100% of the packages arrive

the only one from the us that did not arrive to me, a dagger blank, got back to the US and the seller after receiving the knife refunded me (price- 50% of shipping)

that's my personal experience, do it the right way and it will arrive, have sellers that sold to me 20 times, all good times

thankks C-1!!! can you mail me at mscheo7-bf1ATyahoo.de???

thanks
Maxx
