New GE #53 pattern in the works?

I have to say, you're not going to find a friendlier-looking knife than that Christmas Lights acrylic.

The single spring keeps pulling me back to look at these. Anyone got a stockman to show some comparisons? I really would like to see the size of the pen vs. the coping on the stockman.

My problem right now is picking the covers I want. If I had an indispensable income I would have one of each. I even like the acrylic but wont choose that as my only one. Ebony would give me a matching set with my stockman but that copper bone and coco wood with their long pulls are out in front. I need more pics to sway me one way or another ;) :D

I'd love to pick one up in ebony, but alas, by the time I allocate funds, they'll likely be all gone.
They sure are nice lookin', though!

This is the pic that has sold me on them(not mine)

How about a picture of the spine of the blade - top down. That's a thick/wide spring. Just how wide is it?

It looks tempting! This coming from somebody keen on larger knives but not actually carrying them so much...

Wonder how much they weigh?

Specs on most sites have them right at or under 3 oz. I THINK the stockmans are around 4.

Ed, I too would like to see a top pic. I like how stout that spring is while still trimming it down and losing weight.

Mine just came in the mail yesterday. :) The main blade is about just about perfect, a 5 I'd say. The pen is a bit stiffer, but only on the last half of the open and the initial close. I'd call it about 7-ish, but even after only a day of playing with it, it's getting better. Very pleased!

Thanks! I believe I'm going to get the Tidioute version in ebony next pay...these are really nice.

This copperhead bone color complements the autumn gold bone on my White Owl:

Actually, they are a lot closer in color in person than the photo makes them appear, for some reason.

Here we go ..a quick comparison of three clip blades.........Big Jack (.09), Rancher (.11) and TK Cuban (.13).....these measurements were taken just in front of the bolster with the blade open

Blaine, I REALLY go for that Northfield you showed, some extraordinary bone actually.

I'd fancy getting hold of one of those, what's it like in the pocket? I'm just fearing it's heavy&lumpish....What do you find?

Thanks, Will
