New Gear, and a knife I put together...

Check out some new gear I have..a SnugPak, no long revue right now, but I can say that I am on the hunt for more of thier products for sure!!!!
The Condor survival tool is pretty cool, and chops like crazy.
And the Scandi I just did..I traded for the blank here on the forums...and man, am I glad I did. Its easily my favorite knife..if not my grail knife. I tried to emulate a Skookum handle mixed with the Brian Andrews..Sorry Brian!! I really liked the swells on the Andrews, but I thought they looked a bit steep for me, so I kept the butt slightly thinner, and near the blade is as close a copy to a Skookum handle I could do. its almost perfect, as I hold them up next to each other. I will answer any questions later...I have to go for a bit...family duty calls...just wanted to show this awesome knife off. Gene

I'm glad no one did...I waited way to long to get it...it carves very well, I carved the walking stick serpent for my daughter on Memorial Day.
I never carried the Condor...I did pack it in the car since I got it, and tried it out briefly...good little chopper..the double edge turns me off a bit..but I see alot of possibltlies with the sharpened top and the small edge. I am still not to sure about it.
Brian, I am glad you like it...I am still saving up for one of yours...but I think its time to start making my own. I feel really good about this one...I have rehandled about 20 knives and ground out 4...its time.
I am working on a nice hidden handle.

Sorry about missing last weekend Tony, we decided that the little one was just a bit TOO little to deal with black flies and wood smoke, but I WILL BE GOING TO WAR.
By the way...I know you hauled a tent up there for me, thanks. Ironically, I went to a flea market Sat. morning and bought a huge 2 room tent for $20!! I went home and set it up, its in mint shape!!!
This morning I went to the same flea market and Scored a NorLund felling single bit in great shape for $2!!!!!!!
