Patina soon deals with the etchings. This should be a credible POCKET knife too as it's based on the No.73 pattern. No need for a sheath or suchlike.

I know, but I still carry mine in one of Roy Ryder's nice slip pouches.

got back from the ranch sunday & Modoc Ed's twin was in the mailbox. this gec would actually shave a little hair & i ran my fingers all over it & it's pretty smooth. these beauties are enough knife for pretty heavy duty work & the great flat grind will slice like a razor. i only wish more people could afford a knife like this, i feel a little sadness for them.certainly not too bulky for levis or kahkis but might be a little heavy for light weight slacks.

i really like the design of this knife, i like the lockback feature and the hole for a lanyard or paracord feature as well, its the kinda knife i'd have to save up for.

thank you everyone that sent me emails its very appreciated.

the etchings on the blade don't bother me, but i can see why it would bother some.

I've got one of the new Red Stag Northfields on the way. I'll do some pictures when it comes in.

Terrific knife that Hunter, and one for high up the list of pre-Christmas wishes.
