Came in the mail today. Very small, but I really like the acrylic!

It's so small I can't even see the pic;)

Darn computer has been having trouble loading pics lately:rolleyes: Looks like the handle is even full of cola!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all, but I would say that top one is HUGE!

Perfect! I'm really looking forward to the Northfields, and the snakewood sure looks sweet...

It's supposed to be small. :D

Ha, yes, this is true. I've always liked the 25's as "small knives"(this is my second one after losing the first), but the little 06 feels positively tiny and toy-like next to it! Not in a bad way mind you. I bought it for everyday office carry which I'll pair with something larger just for fun, but I foresee the little 06 getting used a lot when I have to do any cutting with people around.

Actually the sunfish (top knife) is pretty average sized when compared with most modern-style folders. About the size of a spyderco delica. It's definitely one of my favorite GEC's!

I must say that looks really nice. How thick is it compared to the #25? Are the blades and covers the same thickness on both knives or is the #06 slightly thinner?

You have to understand this comment comes from one who usually carries a peanut and considers the Case 6232 jack a big pocket knife.

No, the 06 is definitely scaled down both in blade and handle thickness. I'd say roughly 2/3 the thickness of the 25.

for everyday office carry.

That's the purpose I envision for this one. It's high time they've made something slim/trim and smallish in scale, IMO. It looks to be a neat little knife.

Granted, if I had my druthers I'd like to see an ebony barehead version with lanyard tube in N'field trim.
