What more to say, I am impressed!
I have always been in favor of plain edges but now I decided it's time to give serrations a go. I went on a little shopping spree and got:
a Police in GIN-1, pre-owned, for a very reasonable price, should make a fine user and it's a real classic model
a Matriarch in VG-10, new, at a not-so-reasonable price, this I got just for the uniqueness factor of the design
Both are really beautiful and sharp as heck.
I never thought you could shave hair and push-cut newspaper with a serrated edge but I've now been proven wrong. The Police is very good at such but the Matriarch is even more wicked, scary sharp. As if that wasn't to be expected!
Well, that makes it three Spydercos for me, the first one was a FG Manix. Looking good, should get some more but time to pay some credit card bills first.
