Ya know, I was the same way. I looked at a Tusker for a long time. Im not usually a metal guard guy, but it looks so damn cool on a Tusker. This is a signifigant blade. Pics dont do justice on the heft. It reminds me of the RC5 or Becker Crewman. Only waay cooler. :cool: Im exctied to put the blade to the test after drooling over one for so long. I actually was going to buy a Randall for my 30th birthday, but decided I liked the Tusker more. Plus, I dont know Randall. I know Scott. :thumbup:
 
Im going to hit the woods today and do some firecraft with the Tusker. Also whipping up a leather baldric rig for this one. I might get it done today or tommarow.

So how's the UNK on the cutting board? The point didn't dig into the board too much?

No not at all! It felt right at home on doing food prep work. Ive carried everyday since I got it, and go out of my way to find stuff to use it for, just because it is such a versitle knife... Im growing pretty attatched to it already. :D
 
I'm thinking about downsizing to a 5in Tusker. Seeing this one makes me excited to do it
 
That Tusker's blade shape looks sweet, that size and shape is what I have found works best for me :thumbup:
 
those pictures of the Tusker and UNK have made me want one so bad.

great looking knives and cant wait to get my hands on one shortly
