My Oh My they are something to behold. I love it when people show their prizes on here. I do believe that is a full flat ground sebenza! I had one dated 2/04/03 that looks just like yours. It is now in a nice home with other fine sebenzas. Hope the pictures help.

Birdhunter1220, I just checked it out and Yes it is a flat ground. I had not even noticed. The dates on the inside of the scales read C00. I did not take it apart, but BG-42 blade steel would be about right. I remember reading quite some time ago about the flat ground sebenzas on here, but never gave them much thought. I compared it to another sebenza I have and as you can see, you can tell pretty easily. Thanks for the info guys. I learn as much from you guys all the time as you learn from me.




 
Congrats on the huge score, couldn't go to a nicer guy. Those flat grounds are really nice, I may have had one or two in my time :)
 
Amazing! What is the intricate Damascus pattern pictured in the first group? That is stunning!
