Yep followed the directions. Very messy. I just used an old pair of cotton pants. Should have went with something darker.

Sweet, good to hear it went well for you with those directions. I got a couple of different sets of two or three yards (diff. colors) to make on some summer day.......that past by, so now I'll have to wait until spring or borrow somebody's garage.

Those handle scales are really nice looking, but wooden scales on a rough use knife worry me...
