Hi all,

Just got off the phone with Amy over at Busse. Great personality and very helpful.

I have no idea how in my 37 years I have missed the boat on these and other knives, but I have found my way here now, lol. My poor, poor wife.

Thankfully, I cannot afford a Busse yet as the tree-cutting season is wrapping up shortly. Thankfully for my wife that is. Personally, I am shaking trying to keep from ordering a Mistress, or seeing if I can get an older model made, lol.

I do a LOT of fishing both ocean and fresh, and I hunt deer in the fall quite a bit. I have always been looking for a special knife I can love and cherish. I think Busse might be the company I have been looking for.

I would ask what people think about the Mistress, but I can already tell it's a pointless question.

This is a great forum, so I'll be on a lot trying to catch up and learn all I can before I call Busse back to order up my baby.

Nice to meet everyone!! :D

Just remember "you can't only have just one" Order or buy one and let the madness begin!! or let the addiction begin :thumbup:

RUN, RUN FAST WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!!!

Don't say we didn't warn you.

INFI is sort of like lay's potato chips. Only instead of "eat just one" it's "buy just one". And instead of $2.99 a bag, it costs your firstborn son and some plasma.

OK, INFI isn't really like potato chips at all. It's more like crack cocaine.

Hide your wallet and run.

oops, too late. :D

Welcome to the INFIdiction.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Welcome Mokes!

Let me share a bit of personal history with you: I started eyeing Busse knives and this forum almost two years ago but always found excuses for not buying them (like "can't afford" and "no I don't need another fixed blade" and such crap). I finally pulled the trigger earlier this year, got addicted instantly and I can't tell you how frustrated I am in retrospect for passing all those great opportunities I've seen during these two years at Busse and at the Company Store. The moral is simple: BUY THAT MISTRESS, that's my friendly advice. You'll regret later if you don't. Oh, and if it eventually turns out to be not your cup of tea, you can be confident that you'll be able to sell it here.

Have fun!

As stated, welcome to the addiction!!

The price of the Mistress is far to good to pass up, you just might regret it later.

:)

Welcome to the best forum on the web.

You have been warned, run away now while your wallet is intact. :D

I went to the Easton Trough Show on Friday the 13th to buy just one, a Chopweiler, I walked away with 2 knives I got a Howlin' Rat to go with it.

Now the Howlin' Rat has been a constant companion since Friday when I bought it, I also gave it a second name in honor of the day it was bought so my Howlin' Rat was dubbed, Jason. ;)

I walked in to BLADE in Atlanta hoping to score one or two knives from Scrap Yard....

I came out with 9. 4 Scrap Yards, 4 Busse's, and a Swamp Rat. It's been pretty much downhill since then. As in, my bank account balance has gone steadily downhill.

yep, just exactly what mustard man said and resinguy,

you have been forewarned. don't make us say we told you so.

never mind you are stuck with the rest of us now!!

welcome aboard and enjoy the ride!!!!!

Welcome aboard! Buy the Mistress and don't look back. Like we always say: "No Regrets!" :D

Welcome to the madness Mokes! Your about to drink the coolaid. Funny thing is each time I say Its gonna be my last, I find that I need another INFI fix and all of a sudden Jerry has a new temptation out there. So go ahead and get a Bushwacker Mistress I think its gonna be one of the great ones. But, for deer hunting I think that a SJ Tac may be more usable for the task IMO.

NO REGRETS!!!

hmmm... I might try and get one of these knives they call Busse too. I'm low on funds so I'm going to save up and see if I can find one I like, can anyone give me a suggestion? After reading this thread, I have been inspired to check out what all the fuss is all about...
:)
