New Guy Gets New Knife

The Leek is a very nice knife. I have a couple, including the Rainbow or Disco Leek my son gave me. He has a very dry sense of humor.

The Leek is a pleasure to carry and to use, and it doesn’t hurt that now and again somebody will say something like, “that knife is really expensive, isn’t it?”

Congratulations, Kershaw makes a nice knife for reasonable prices. You definitely get quality at a cost that doesn’t break the bank.
Since you have your sights set on Benchmade and don’t want plastic, I recommend the Stryker. They are nice carry knives with G10 handles over stainless liners, and cost around 170 dollars.

Congrats on the LEEK. I had a few CRKT's until I bought a Kershaw LEEK and I was hooked on good knifes. There are a great number of Great Kershaw's and then you can look at Zero Tolerance.......

Lateck,
