Hello,I'm new here and also kinda new to knife makeing.I'll make a long story short. My Dad was a long time knife maker. His knives are word wide. While growing up I listend just enough to make me look good in front of my friends. Now I have the shop after his death in 06.I have been slowly getting back into the swing of turning out knives that my Dad would proud of.I will be more than happy to take critasism in able to further my craft.Any tips will grately appreacheated.
I use old saw mill blades that have been sheerd.I have a grinder that uses 6 ft belts.I start with 36 grt and work my way down to 9 micron then pollish with green and then white compound.Handles are made from natural wood, lamanated wood, antler, ect.Hardness dose not seem to be a problum, some of my knives have been used to clean 6 deer befor needing to be sharpend.
