New guy to bf and esee knives

I'm new too... just got my first ESEE, an Izula.

I'm hooked as well. I think ESEE must have the one of the fastest growing loyal fanbase of all knife manufacturers!

They must be doing something right!

Certainly don't want to highjack this thread but it seems like the right time to jump in. I'm new to ESEE as well. I have a fairly extensive collection from other makers and customs but this is my first ESEE. I picked up a 4 this fall and put new handles on it from Dale at the Knife Connection. Much better fit for me!! This will get a LOT of use!!

Next up is a 5 or a Junglas. I'm having an internal debate. Eventually I'll have both. :D:D

Get the 5, it is a super thick tank of a knife. I haven't handled the Junglas, but seems a bit too long and a bit specialized. I can carry the 5 around with me in an urban environment where I wouldn't/couldn't carry a Junglas.

Thanks! I probably will start with the 5 as I'm looking for a "tank" for some heavy camp uses however I also have uses for the Junglas. That's why I said I'll eventually have both. :D
