New Guy W/ pics! - Izula

Well good news, I only have 1 blister from the extensive cutting session yesterday. I would probably wear gloves for something like that but I wanted to get a feel for the micarta handles.
 
This is not good at all.....I ordered 2 kydex sheaths as they were a better deal for 2. I figured since I have an extra sheath coming...I might as well fill it with another Izula. Sure enough 7 days from getting my first Izula I have a 2nd on order for myself. I have another OD green coming with another set of scales. I figured this time I wouldn't need the entire kit...

Someone please help me...I think I have a problem of buying Izula.
 
well, the good news Krazichinaman is that the desire for more Izula's may fade soon....a couple is usually enough, but don't worry if you need more....

the other news is...you will develop a need for other models in the line! :)

If you use MSN/AIM/GOOGLE Chat I would be more then happy to help you. It only took me about a week of coaching someone else (on the sharpmaker) and they are getting hair whittling edges now. :D
 
Some evening I have some free time, I might just take you up on that. Guess I’ll need to stop convexing knives and get a Sharpmaker. :D

This one will sit as the dedicated BOB knife along side my Busse Fatty Ash-1. Spent a good 15 minutes on the sharpmaker and this is hair whittling too. :o

Forgot to mention I will update this thread again. I ordered new pants from azwelke on 7/26 so they should arrive any day. A black and Blaze Orange sheath. I'm thinking the black sheath will go into the BOB and use the orange sheath when I use it around the house/hiking/camping.(Still waiting to hear back from my local police department regarding their city municipal code regarding carry of a fixed blade.....)

Should be coming any day but I don't think I can stock the mailman for that one...=/
