New Guy with a New Book

Hi guys, thought I was a member here because of all the emails I receive, but had to re-register to get in. Anyways, mostly a military weapons collector here, and was at a gun show this morning. A vendor walked in with a pile of books which I promptly bought. Not a knife expert, I nonetheless recognized the name Randall on the best of the books, a hardcover, in great shape ( other than a bit smokey smelling ). Inside, it is signed by R.L. Gaddis, Feb, 1993, and below that, dated 7-30-93, a note from Gary Gaddis to someone named Chet, who was apparently Garys' close friend and shooting partner. So, I am wondering who Chet is, and if he wants his book back !!!! The guy told me all the stuff was left to him by his uncle who was a gunsmith, so maybe Chet is no longer with us ?? Either way, a very cool book.
