Hey Everyone,
I'm new to the forum, but have been browsing it for awhile, mainly how to freehand sharpen. I recently got a combo waterstone and finally put it to use yesterday/today and am really happy with the results. I'd just like to thank you guys (no one specific) because I found a lot of help from this forum that led me to good results.

If you have some nice sharp knives, by all means post some pics.

Honestly just start searching around for techniques and find one that's comfortable. As for stones, all I used was a King combo 1000/6000

Thanks Doc!!!
When I have a blade with that bad ass edge I look for the slightest excuse to cut stuff!!!
😬

Top one is a 943, right under a 940. Both have DOAT scales on them. Excellent work from one of our service providers!!
And a 908-1501.....love them!!

I was so taken away by the bottom one didn't even notice the top two. I'm a big Benchmade fan myself but only have one, the Triage. They're too damn expensive.
Very nice though.
