New Guy with Alpha Hunter Folder Question...

I was wondering if there is someone or site or place I can get different scales for my Alpha Hunter Folder. I really love the knife, but I would like to put something a little nicer on it. I have the black rubber which is very handy, but does look as good as Stag or Big Horn... Any ideas?

I have a set of buffalo scales in progress for my folding Alpha Hunter. I've been slow to finish them because I actually decided I like the wood scales better.





 
I think the job you have done on the horn scales is great, Messer, but I have to agree, I prefer the wood too. :o

dittos here on the horn,,,
my .25cents is for a light edc the wood it great but for hunting and field work the rubber grips cant be beat for gripabbility..
 
Muskrat man got banned, I have no idea WHY but it means we can't contact him. He certainly did some fine work though.
 
I have no question that Muskrat Man will do well by you, Chad. That is going to be a beautiful knife when it is finished. Did I mention that we love pictures? ;)
 
I heard from him today. Everything is OK. He got my knife today. He got banned over a disagreement with a MOD. I should have the knife in a couple weeks. I'll post some pics. On another note. I'm gonna try and build my own knife. I ordered my stuff today. I'll post some pics in the builder forum when I feel it is done.

I like my Alpha folder...but it's just too thick for me to EDC.
I'd rather sport a thick scaled 110 like this one (which happened to be done by Musky):

What I consider to be the mini-version of the Alpha folder is the Dorado. Too cool for school

Muskrat Man spammed us so persistently, and threw so many tantrums when he got in trouble for his spamming, that he finally accumulated so many infractions it added up to a ban. However, he did not rip off his customers -- only scammed us for free advertising.

All of that is still on the forums for anyone to read and judge for yourself. I don't have time to search it all out and post links right now, but here's one link for now. You can easily search out the rest of the story for yourself, but the posts from his father are the most recent part of it and might show some insight into how Muskrat Man got that way...
