New "Harness Jack" for that guy up North

Hi Bruce.
Whew...well what can I say that others havent so far?
But we know real quality when we see it, and to be honest, Charlie has done a lot for the knife world...if he sees this he will shrug it off, but the truth is he has - by himself, resurrected a patterned knife that fell by with the change of times, Charlie went out and did the hard yards, and now just look at what he has to offer us, I think we are pretty blessed to be able to rub shoulders with this kinda guy.
Now the HJ is again noticed and wanted as one of the more popular models within the Traditional group...could I say a group that KNOWS probably a bit more than others when it comes to such wonderful knives such as this.
Thank you Bruce for taking this challenge on, and winning can I say.
One day we are ( I hope for all of us at one stage or another) going to be lucky enough to own just one knife of this calibre.
Charlie...you are a lucky man, and Bruce...get in that workshop and bang one out for me eh?
Thanks guys.

It doesn't get any nicer then that, Bruce! Way to go, Charlie!

Another HJ again, must you really Charlie? Joking aside, congrats to you and Bruce! I love the matchstrike long-pull, swedge and pointiness of the punch, and the stag! All around, this is a fine example!

Whoa, Nellie! This road is kind Bumpy!
Let me just jump down here and start a campfire. Now where's that flint and steel? Oh that's right, I can just strike my match on my knife!!:D

Actually, Bruce walked by where I am setting up my table, and said hi! I said I'd be by later, but he and his wife disappeared!
I guess I'll see him tomorrow (can I possibly wait that long without eating my shirt??).

That is some knife! Really fine stag! First matchstriker I've seen on a custom. The rest is killer . . . .I'll report back when I manage to leave some fingerprints on it!

(Bruce, where the heck are you!!):grumpy:

Much appreciated compliments guys!
Charlie, Kaye and I went on a "knife show walkabout" Sorry to miss you, it looked like you were busy all day talking to fine folks. Your HJ went into the custom knife competition although it didn't take home the gold got some real attention.
See ya tomorrow my friend.

Found Bruce today, and got my fingerprints on the knife! Along with a hundred others! Everyone who lurks here wanted to see it!
Bruce is very modest, saying he'll do better next time! Hah, I say! He already did it! He cut the teeth in the matchstriker freehand, much to the consternation of other custom makers, who scratched their heads, and tried to guess how he did it, and who would not have risked a blade trying!!
Killer knife in person, as well as in pics!
Pretty good crowd today, almost as good as last year. Sold a bucket of knives today, including several HJ6s! Bought none, as my budget for that is done. Very tired, going to bed early!!
Next post will be Monday - thanks for your patience.

I'm looking forward to the pictures Charlie!

Just gorgeous all the way around! The punch blade looks like a hybred wharncliffe/punch blade, and along with the long match strike pull they sure make for a nice package! Just as the others mentioned beautiful stag!

Here it is with my proprietary yellow background!

That Stag has got to be seen to be believed! It's like it came from the PocketKnife Stag - a hybrid species designed for the task of providing handle material!
The texture is proportionate to the knife, and the curve turns around nearly perfectly!
The rest of the knife is as good as it gets!!
Thanks Bruce!
