New Hawk Enthusiast Needs Help

Hey guys i am new to the forum, and just want to say that I love it so far. I have spent a week or so browsing the stickies and old posts. I have always had an interest and appreciation in Native American culture and history, and this is what led me to tomahawks. I bought my first one a month ago. A SOG tactical tomahawk. I really love this hawk, but it was a little too short for my liking. I then decided to start making my own. Well it hasnt turned out so well, but for the first time i was satisfied. I am just looking for some direction on good sources or tips on making things like tomahawks, gun stock war clubs, and knives. Thanks for any help.
