It's got a longer 3-3/8" blade with a clip point. Not sure what else is different. I love the regular and the mini peasant knives.

Interesting. There's a new (to me, at least,) Micro Peasant as well. The Mini really hits a sweet spot for me, but I like that they're branching out with their folders.

Here is the "Micro" with 1-7/8" blade:

I have not heard good things about metal-scaled models.

I like the look of the new HD model. I like the extra length but hopefully they didn't make it too thick. Not too many people selling them yet unfortunately and I haven't been able to find a review yet.

I like the Bowie style blade.

Anyone have a photo of all models together for conparison?

I just have the standard and mini Peasants:

The Standard Peasant has a 1/2" longer blade than the Mini. The HD is 3/8" longer than the standard.

Nice, I love clip points. Hopefully they do a run with natural materials like an exotic wood or horn.

The metal handle ones aren't so great because the metal is so thin. Thicker metal scales work well.

modded micro

I've used the snot out of the normal size peasant, I can't see how the new version is "Heavier Duty" with just a different blade profile and a little larger blade?

Yeah, it doesn't seem more heavily constructed, but I'll withhold judgement until someone gets their mitts on one.

Personally I hope it isn't too different. A little extra length is fine but it doesn't need to be any thicker.

Just to complete the topic: There is now a Giant Peasant with an 8" blade for about a hundred bucks :D
