Is there a problem?

Been sick lately. Thanks for all the help in this quest.I'll definitely take some of the 80CrV2.This will be my first piece of raw steel ever purchased so please bear with me.
?1-Could it be had in 1/4x2"x14" or longer? 5/16"x2x14 or longer?1/4x3x14"+
?2-I have seen different language like flat ground....Can I get it already ground to a dull edge or just stock and grind myself?
Thanks again,Dan

Dan.

Normally flat ground is when a bar of steel has been ground as a bar to remove the surface scale. Surface ground is when it had been precision ground to a very flat a parallel condition. Aldo may be able to get in varying widths and thicknesses but I will leave that to him to answer.

We've been selling 80CrV2 as 1080+ for the last few years. It is an excellent steel. We didn't use the name 80CrV2 because knifemakers thought it was a steel made in China.

Here is a page off our website comparing 1080+ with other steels:

and this is good steel i have ordered it and used it in the past and it is definately worth it to use. i highly recommend the bybees and this steel.
