As you've already learned about this forum, you'll run into different opinions: Spyderco rules vs. Spyderco hmm?, serrations suck vs. serrations okay, etc.
That's what's great. You learn all you can, and solicit as much info as you can, and then...make your own decisions.
P.S. Spyderco does rock! Serrations has a purpose, and the BM 710 Axis is a great knife. Now, my opinion on the importance of NIB (new in box) sharpness and Benchmade's lack of thereof...Er, maybe not. Why get you in the middle of the inevitable argument to follow? Maybe, next time!
By the way we should warn you that you should never mention the word "MAD" if it is to be immediately followed by the word "DOG". Putting these two words together on any post is likely to result in an far ranging and colorful discussion.
Welcome! A lot of great people here with loads of info. You might even get to meet a spy from the "dark side" of the Singapore government, or at the very least have a run in with a Vampire Gerbil.
Ah! What were you thinking, Randy? Get a ParaOrdnance..much cooler, just as compact and they'll hold 30% more rounds. Check them out at http://www.paraord.com , sweetest handgun you'll ever fire.
