New Himalayan-Imports designs

how about a Haladie?

or a bagh-nakh?

Where can I get whatever that thing is in the picture? Must have it. *drools lustfully*

I would love to see hI come out with a traditional V-44 style bowie, it seems that alot of people have forgotten the value of some of the more time and battle tested blade designs.

When ya look back, the Bowie is a relative newcomer to the world of fighting knife designs, but that's not to say it hasn't seen its share of action. :D

An HI recurved khanjar/khanjarli would be, for lack of a better word, RAD.

Pair of Bot Jam Do or however you wanna spell it. Butterfly swords dammit. I bet the Kamis could do an awesome job with those.

Perhaps someday when I'm not poor I'll request another set, but there's no need for them to rush themselves on my account right now.

How about a Kuk with a user-replaceable handle? Offer a few options to suit large and small hands, and a variety of materials, either decorative or practical.

How about a HI F/S Dagger, 7 1/4 " blade but wider and thicker with a traditional turned handle in buffalo horn, now thats something i wouldn't mind paying the shipping for,
Chris.

I would definitely love to have a HI cleaver in my kitchen.

What I would most like to see though would be some kind of folding knife, perhaps a folding kukiri if that is even practical.

Chiruwa Kumar Karda, various sizes. I gotta feeling that would be very popular in the hunting knife market here in the States. I actually plan on sharking some Kumar Karda blems, removing the handles, welding on a full American-style tang & then rehandling.

The Election Day Specials (see below) would have been perfect.... an 18 and a 14-incher. I durn near snagged them both. But they both were such great pieces that I couldn't bear the thought of defiling them by ripping off their beautifully carved handles.

I would love a Kerambit with a Rosewood handle, and a Lil Rusty with a Dark Rosewood handle....and an Everest Katana with a Dark Rosewood handle, along with quite a bit MORE curve to the blade than the "standard" Everest Katana!

Ahh... wishes, wishes... fun to Think upon tho!!

I think a Movie Model with a guard just like the one on today's DOTD Bhimsen Knife would be the coolest thing since cheese grits.

What I'd like to see?

A wakizashi - just like the katana, nice and simple, unadorned. Just make a shorter katana, nothing fancy. I know someone who wants it for Christmas, and I'd hate to have to buy it elsewhere. Can it be contracted, if not mass produced?

Or even a so-called Ninja sword, straight and also unadorned. I'd like that for myself.

I think this is a GREAT idea, it seems like the mods all those guys that are much handier than I do almost always involves change to the handles. I would think this could be implemented w/out too much trouble, the kamis could just produce flat tangs with holes, maybe the starter would be wood slabs with screws.

Making them so they have interchangeable parts though would probably be impossible as they are not standardized (being hand made, obviously).
