New Collaboration, I made the blade, first time cutting a groove in a blade (by hand) and Anders did the guard and fittings in blackened bronze with a fossil walrus ivory handle. Blade is 12-3/4". 18" over all. I showed a close up of the damascus a while back and wanted to add the finished piece here. Let us know what you think, Thanks for looking.

Don, that is by far one of the coolest knives I have ever seen. Can't think of much else to say.
Nice work man:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I bet that groove was loads of fun by hand.......:eek:

Great work, Don, as always....Anders didn't do too bad either. ;)

Don, Great Knife! You and Anders make a fine team! I've always been amazed with Anders fittings. I'm assuming he cast them. Any idea on how he colors them?

Is that the steel or similar, thats on Jon K's Bowie? I was trying to find a close of of his blade steel.

Wow, it sure has been one treat after another on the forums of late. Nobody pinch me. That's a terrific piece Don / Anders - congrats to you both.

Thanks much folks!

Jon, it is the same steel that I used for Jon K's bowie, but the way it's foged and ground can make it look a bit different. Here's a close up of Jon's.

18" OAL...sort of small for the two of you. :p :D Really like this one, Don & Anders! I think Don is playing into Anders hands with this blade design. Made an awesome collaboration piece. Love the damascus!
