[Don Hanson III]

New Collaboration, I made the blade, first time cutting a groove in a blade (by hand) and Anders did the guard and fittings in blackened bronze with a fossil walrus ivory handle. Blade is 12-3/4". 18" over all. I showed a close up of the damascus a while back and wanted to add the finished piece here. Let us know what you think, Thanks for looking.

Jon, it is the same steel that I used for Jon K's bowie, but the way it's foged and ground can make it look a bit different. Here's a close up of Jon's.

18" OAL...sort of small for the two of you. Really like this one, Don & Anders! I think Don is playing into Anders hands with this blade design. Made an awesome collaboration piece. Love the damascus!
