New Hogue EXF01 Fixed Blade Vid

I may have to look into those - thanks for the post. 1/4" thick and good looking to boot. nice.

I also especially liked that they were in A2 instead of 440A or some mystery steel like most gun knife brands.

Yep. Those fixed blades look great. I'll check them out at the show today.

Good looking fixed blades for sure. Looks to be on par with their folders. Great job entering the knife biz.

Indeed and their folders and apparently their FB's rock. Especially since they just came out a year ago or less. The EX01 folders are awesome, especially the 4" DP. They approach custom F&F if not fully

I'm ignorant of these Hogue Knives! Are Hogue Knives made for or at the same Hogue's Grips Co?

I think I may have to try out these hogue knives the only hogue I own is my monogrip on my ruger gp-100 I'm just amazed how a company like that can overnight change into a top cutlery manufacturer.

Wow! Looks like there doing it right with folks like Allen Elishewitz designing!

Totally. They hit a homer for just breaking into the business. There are a few tweaks I'd like to see but no single knife has ever been 100% perfect for me.

 Get pics if you can.
Sorry Michael. No pics. But the new Hogue fixed blades are extremely nice. I had a chance to check out the EX01 for the first time as well, and it's everything others have said it is. Looks like Allen Elishewitz and Hogue have got a good thing going.

I saw these are up at one store at least already, luckily its one thats just a 20min drive away I might have to go check it out next week.

thanks for the post - im turning into a big hogue fan. quality and styling are top notch and the pricing has been terrific.

Saw one at the NRA Convention last weekend, and just got one... the 7" model with the green G-Mascus scales. This blade is very well designed from what I can tell and feel... the handle is amazingly comfortable.

At first, I looked at the index finger groove and figured I wouldn't like it much, but wanted to check it out anyways. Wow! It fit like a glove! And for a 7" long 1/4" thick blade, it balances really well, and doesn't feel heavy at all! The blade is also really really sharp from factory, and has a beautiful mirror polish along the edge.

The only thing I may do to enhance its fit for me is to add a thin sheet of liner between the tang and the scales to beef up the width of the handle a tad. I'm thinking 1/32'" to 1/16" on each side. I'm thinking orange liners :D
