Wonderful combination on the Handle, Guard and spacers. Also appears to have very nice handle ergonomics. Nice Temper line too.

I personally don't care for any top guard on a Hunter but others may feel differently.
 
I personally would have picked a different wood for the handle (I'm a fan of the red-hued burls), but it's a beautiful design and appears to be a wonderful execution. It also looks comfy (which is paramount).

Yes, it has the characteristics that make a great hunter/general purpose knife.
Has one of those handles that you just want to grab when you see it.
