New Idea for Kydex Sheaths...

When I was taking a shower this morning, I had a new idea for kydex sheaths. The two biggest complaints I have seen people have about kydex are that it can be noisy, and it does not prevent rust like some claim leather does. What about lining the sheath with something like tuff-cloth? This would prevent the sheath scratching the blade, make the blade silent within the sheath, and prevent rust of a non-stainless blade. The only problems that I see are attaching the liner to the sheath (epoxy?) and the knife point ripping the cloth, though if it was attached firmly enough to the sheath, I don't think the blade would catch it. If the sheath got wet, I don't think the water would displace the lubricant on the tuff-cloth, so that shouldn't be an issue. Any thoughts on this?
