New iMac

I think you would be glad you forked out the cash when you got the new iMac home. I never use my other computers now... Well I OCCASIONALLY use my new toshiba satellite but the iMac is where it is!!!
 
I think the only Apple/Mac computer I'd ever want to try would be the Mac mini. And even it is overpriced for what you get. I, however, like how small it is and compared to the other Apple/Mac computer's it's "cheap".

My PC laptop has equal specs minus the processor (2.0GHz 64-bit Sempron) and cost a little less then the $600 Mac mini. For a "first time Mac user" I couldn't rationalize spending $2000+ not knowing if I would return it in a week. $600 is more reasonable. Plus I could use my own monitor, I am definetly not a big fan of Mac's styling, all the white and acrylic look. Reminds me of sour milk.
