New INFI addict.....

Start running! And don't stop until you reach the...
Busse Store. :D
Nice Score!!

Welcome aboard. Good to have more people.
I really like that you actually use your knifes.

:D

Just wondering if anybody else has had the sage finish come off?

I have the od green and it's really tuff. I'm looking at getting a second nmsfno and it's going to be sage or black finish.

Welcome rangerover 95. You have a new sickness and the only cure is more INFI!

When I got my Sage GW, I used it like I thought a Busse should be used, I broke apart 3 pallets that the landscaper left in my yard.....

After all the prying and batoning through the wood, the finish had been noticiably marred. It had come up about a 1/4-1/2 inch from the edge, so I decided to strip the coating.

After doing that and liking the results, I stripped the Skinny ASH almost as soon as I had it in my hands. I have always preferred the look of bare metal.

I also decided to give the blade a full convex, all by hand......:D

I think I have about 6-8 hours of hand sanding invested in the blade..... I still have a ways to go.

I also gave a light sanding to the handles, with a low grit as to still provide a little traction.

I am just still thrilled that I have a BAD on the way that should serve its duty as my primary EDC here on Thursday. I am even more thrilled that I found out that instead of owning the taxman this year, I am actually getting some back!!!!!!! This means all the money I thought I owed is going to have to help aid this INFI addiction.

Dude, seriously just turn and SPRINT in the other direction. I don't really post here too often but I am a big fan of Busse knives. I thought I used to like knives but after discovering (I used the term discover to denote a significant happening in my life) these Busse knives I have become infatuated with them. The knives are great, the people are great, so you can't really go wrong with the knives or this place. Congrats on the GW and ASH, I had a GW and it was a really good blade. Never had an ASH though...I just realized I need to post a little more often...

On a side note I, too, like..err..LOVE my knives stripped. I find that INFI does not rust (or have a tendency to readily rust) like other steels do so I don't have to worry about them when I do. Naked steel is where it at!

Nice call on the avatar there safety man, I am a bartender here in So OR, and I try to pimp out the Hef and Drop Top like none other, great beers!

As for your advice, I think the infection has set in for good.......Im not complaining one bit..:D

My advice is get out now while you still can. If not, you'll become addicted and end up broke.

Welcome aboard and don't say I didn't warn you. ;)

Quick! Get rid of those Busse knives before you get hooked! (As an idea, you could send to me and I could save you from them.) Whatever you do, DON"T go into the Busse Exchange thread.

I got into Busses barely two months ago and look what they've done to me!

And that doesn't show the 3 new SAR-4s that are on their way here! Run! Run like hell!

Wow Rodger, that is an amazing collection to have built up in such a short period. I'm impressed by how completely you give in to addiction. :D

Welcome RangeRover...you'll enjoy your time here, but your wallet and spouse won't. ;)
