New Insingo Carbon Fiber

So, I have had the knife for only a couple days now, but I absolutely love every aspect of the knife. The only other CRK knife I have owned was Umnumzaan, but I'm truly loving the Insingo Sebenza. The CF front side or presentation scale just adds more to the knife. If you are on the fence about pulling trigger, I would say go ahead because you won't regret it.

Mine just showed up yesterday. Great knife. Thanks, Jason!

man these CF insingo are sweet. Glad everyone is enjoying them. Miss my CF Sebenza for sure! Good Work!

For good reason. Mcgizmo makes some great ones.

I've been loving my tcr2vn (modified by vinh) jet beam.

Not quite Mcgizmo status, but nice.

Went to order mine and it said textured cf scale. Anyone have one of the new textured scales? Wondering how it differs from the original smooth scales.

I'm torn between buying a CF insingo or a micarta tanto. I'll eventually own both, probably. But which to buy first?

Micarta tanto!
This was my first crk and it comes with me every day.
I've gotten 2 more, but the micarta tanto is my absolute favorite to carry.

Hah TMack everyone's loud and clear aware of your tanto preference. And it's primarily what recently peaked my interest in the tanto. TNK should consider putting you on retainer ;)

There's no one with either, but obviously you know you that! My vote goes for the Insingo w/ CF. I love the blade shape and the vast array of cutting tasks it will handle. Simply put it's a work horse, not the tanto won't. The CF just makes the knife carry a lot easier and for a large it disappears in the pocket. My 2 cents anyway.

The carbon fiber models are some of the smoothest knives I have ever handled in my life

ha ha good Friday bump :)

My first CRK was a small Knife Art Carbon Insingo. Couldn't believe I spent so much money on a single knife.

Fast forward to now and I'm several CRK in and I love every single one of them.

I have no idea how I ended on this thread but I absolutely agree with what you guys are saying about the insingo and the carbon fiber, and good thing I ended here because I had been wondering about the tanto version, which as far as I can read here is a fantastic blade shape, CRK wise. If you don't mind me asking, is the tanto an exclusive for TNk?
Anyway, sorry for the intrusion.

I noticed mine isn't perfectly centered. It's off about 1 mm towards the CF side but not rubbing against the scale. I haven't disassembled it yet so I can rule out human error. Anyone else?

I've only had one CF slabbed CRK and it was the same way. The blade itself favored the CF scale as opposed to my full Ti's where the blade was perfectly centered between the scales. Normally any off centeredness is usually just the tip grind being off, but on my CF CRK it was the entire blade. As if the larger washer was much slimmer than the small, so the blade sat closer to the CF scale. However it didn't rub or anything like that, so it was just fine functionally.

Yes, Tanto Sebenzas and Tantozaans are TNK exclusives
