New integral E-nep

Wow, what an incredibly beautiful, flowing knife.

It must be a joy to be able to produce something such as this!

How's the scabbard/sheath looks like Tai?

Congrats on a Master Piece!

This is the sort of situation that reminds me I'm not really a collector, yet.

I know, absolutely, that I love that knife.

But I just can't put it into words. :(

Sure, it has nice lines and they flow together. That's a very anemic statement. Perhaps I just need more experience.

Thanks, I'm not sure exactly what Chuck has in mind for the sheath. We've only kicked some ideas around,... but it's his call. He's a true artist, and the final decisions are up to him. I really like working with Chuck. He has great intuition, is so versatile,... and consider him to be the very best for my work. :)

What I try to do is,... "get the whole to be greater than the sum of the parts". It is also very hard for me to put into words and seems intangible and ethereal. Sometimes everything just clicks on a knife...

I think I understand what you are trying to say though, and appreciate the thoughtfulness and observance of it. :)

I appreciate all the kind words and for everyone’s fondness of my new work. It's hard for me to look at my own work objectively sometimes.

I just took my time, and tried to enjoy the "process" of making this knife. :)

I just hope it won't be the last time... and that there are more to come...

It won't be. :)

I've been a silent follower of your work for years. Eventually, I will actually own a few of your pieces ... or at least give it a serious try! :D

Among other things, I have about 35 years experience as a systems engineer. We're supposed to be able to deconstruct processes and systems into their component parts for careful analysis, followed by reconstruction. I should be able to understand my responses to knife designs better ... and yet I don't.

I think it will just take more time.

Or could it be the fact that I'm nearly devoid of artistic talent?? All of that has flowed past me and into my youngest. She is our artist. ;)
