I would love to see the folders, fixed blade sand any variation of the Buck Phrobis knines.

This is the knife in question.

. Is it original or a build out from later years.?

You don't get it, you just don't get it. If there weren't newer knives there would only be the ones with the Phrobis dolphin on them. This is what I meant that "Phrobis will be around" If Buck is still doing it I know the Phrobis knives I have are original. I am not playing your games!! You are very immature. Grow up!!

The Phrobis with the pocket clip and 4 dot blade is a oddity or pieced together (build out). The pocket clip model Ti handle is first in the 87 catalog. The 184 Buck Master is in the 85 catalog. So, something is a miss. As the 4 dot blade doesn't fit the time frame of the handle, for it to be factory original. DM

And here I thought one of the Buck employees just liked doodling dolphins on their knives back in the day.....Go figure, I learned something. So, Michael, Are you saying all the 186/560's had dolphins doodled on them? Thanks

No ,I am saying that the 186/560's are from the time that Phrobis and Buck were colaberating on knives. The Titanium FG handles from then until now have been stamped with the dolphin. I know mine are the real deal because my father bought them in the 80's with the pocket clip. They are the take apart models. You can go on the bay and see the Titanium handles with the dolphin and an assortment of 110 blades. Who knows what is real or not with all of the pieced together knives. I just know mine are real.

Well David was the closest, here is the COA for the knife in the first post. It's too bad they don't build these anymore. They haven't had a build out either in a bit.
Plus I thought everyone would like to see it.

Is this Certificate yours or a friends along with the knives?

David Martin was the only person who answered anything towards your question about the 186/560 so I guess he is the closest. I sure hope you are right that they have quit building these with the stamp on. Makael I feel sorry for you if you consider Craig a friend and I believe he received the information from you. He e-mailed me and we went back and forth and he got over the top with name calling. That person should not treat customers the way he did. It all started because of the Phrobis stamp. I will never buy another thing from the man.
