This is a piece I've been meaning to do for a while, and am hoping will become part of my regulars. It is a hybrid of a few of the Gunstock hunters I've done.

I name some of my blades, this one is the Practical Heavy Duty (PHD) hunter, made for heavy duty use in a traditional hidden tang drop hunter pattern.

I'm going to go buyers choice on this one for the sheath. Normally I will include kydex as I think it fits the spirit of the blade, but some buyers of traditional oriented patterns may prefer leather.

CTS-XHP @ 61, .160" thick, hollow ground
3.5" edge length, 8.75" OAL, 5.8oz.
Natural G10 handle, G10 liners
416ss hardware

$225 shipped

That's the nicest knife I've seen on here in a long time. It's good to see a traditional design spiced up with modern materials and the personal touch of its maker.

Thanks everyone. This one came out very nicely IMO.

It isn't showing up with the option to email you when I click on your name. Edit: Got your email.

This blade is still available folks, looks like the forum member above is leaning towards a commission.
