Well, 3/4 size of the current blade length of 4.25" would be 3.1875"

3/4 size of current blade thickness of 0.156" would be 0.117"

3/4 size of current OAL of 5.25" would be 3.9375"

3/4 size of current weight of 8.6oz would be 6.45oz

I'm sure Thomas loves it when we take everything he says literally :)

This is not the first reference I have seen to the blade length of 4.25". I cannot refute this because I've never had the pleasure of seeing or holding any ZT, let alone a 0300, but the ZT website lists the blade length at 3.75". What is the correct blade length? According to the rest of the dimensions listed, I sincerely hope a true 3/4 model is what is coming. IL has a 3" blade restriction, but 3.18" is close enough for me! :)

The ZT 0300 blade is 3.75 inches long. Measured myself, and the catalogs say so as well.
 
I believe it is 3.75" also. I just used the measurements from new graham's description.

3/4 length of the 3.75" blade would be 2.8125".

So I'm thinking it would be 3" blade, 4" handle. I bet they'd sell very well in that size.
 
Guys, the "3/4 sized" fiqure I mentioned was not to be taken literally. As soon as the piece is spec'd out I'll let you know all the details.

I've seen various specs, it's kind of tricky with those knvies because it depends on where you measure from. Going from the end of the handle to the tip of the blade IIRC gives you the 3.75" measurement. However, edge length is longer. I don't have one to compare, but that's the best I can figure.
 
Guess I need to buy another SG2 JYD for STR to tip up for me.
