The last thread got locked because I broke some rules on my posts. I understand. I need to do this right. Any way, here is the info and pics of the knife. Bare with me as I repost the pics.

Jake has been working on a framelock for me and he shot me some pics. When I first saw it I thought of the movie Terminator. This thing is BAD!!!!Most of you have seen the Alpha Hunter Chopper Jake made for me. His work and customer service is top notch.
Jake and I got to talking and I suggested that he make a sprint run of 6 of these. 3 in my 400 grit Terminator finish and 3 with a Stonewashed Ti handle with a Acid/Stonewashed blade and call that the "Terminator Dark"
Here are some pics and details. This one is in CPM154 but I asked Jake to make them in s35vn and he said no problem. There will be a total of 6 of these.
* CPM 154 blade, .140 thick, 3.5" long, HT60RC
* 6AL-4V titanium slabs at .205 thick
* Handle is 4.5" long
* Bronze washers
* 1/4" diameter, stainless pivot
* Stainless screws
* Titanium clip
* I haven't weighed her yet but I'm guessing 5.5 to 6.5 ounces

Here is a pic of what the" Dark" series will look like. This is same frame with a different blade. This will not be the blade in the A10Alpha.

From Jake:
ts simple but works well. under that 2-56 screw is a access hole to the bearings which allows you to oil the bearings without taking the knife apart. this saves the mess associated with dripping oil from the outside of the frame. The frame to bearing clearance is very tight so as to not allow grit and dirt into the bearing system. in the future I will be working on a low pressure, low volume oil system that will feed oil into the pivot and bearings every time you open the knife.

The A10 Alpha "Terminator Dark" arrived today!!! I just got to handle it for a little bit this evening. We had family over this evening. I'll post pics tomorrow. This thing is built for Battle! It's very, very, very Solid! The action is tuned very tight. It reminded me of a new 1911 tight and smooth with killer lockup! This thing opens and closes with authority! You guys are going to love this thing! The bearing system with the flipper engages the blade nice and solid. There is no blade play and the blade is dead center I mean ruler center! This thing is a folding fixed blade! I'll post more info tomorrow with pics!!!

Those that are getting one you will be pleased! This is no safe queen! This is meant to be used and used hard!!! LE & Military would love this knife! It's a true survival tool!

Great job Jake!!!

My first impression was "This Thing is built like a Sherman Tank!" it's tuned very tight. It's the tightest knife I have ever handled. It closes and locks with authority. It feels closest to the ZT 302 in weight and size. The bearing system is smooth when you press the flipper. You really have to press the flipper to disengage the blade. Once engaged it locks nice and hard. It really reminds me of pulling the slide back on a new 1911. It can be intimidating at first but once you practice with it you know you are holding a true hard use knife. It's so tight and sturdy it feels like you could stabb it in a wall and do a pull up on it. It will never accidentally disengage on you. It locks in when closed. Over time the action will smooth out like a 1911 and I say this in a good way.

If your getting one of these there is nothing else you own that can compare. I'm not saying it's better but very unique and different. It's that unique and different in all aspects. The handle fits so nice in the hand. It really forms with your grip. I would trust my life to this knife. With it's construction it truly is a "Terminator"!

I'll post more input this weekend as I use it more.
Chad

The blade comes hair poppin' sharp! Gotta love it!
I'm on my iPhone so excuse typos. :D
