It says it right there in the name: UHEP, Ultra High End Production. That is what you are going to get from the Jake Hoback Knives Kwaiback UHEP Flipper. This knife is over-built making it an excellent choice for a hard use EDC folder. The blade is made from 0.1875" thick CPM 20CV (Crucible's proprietary version of M390). This steel give the blade excellent ware resistance as well as corrosion resistance and it takes a razor sharp edge.

The deployment on the Caged Roller Bearing is smooth and fast and the Hoback Roller Detent allows for deployment tension to be adjusted to the individual user. The HRD also decreases friction on the blade reducing wear and providing smoother operation. The handles are machined from 0.1875" thick Titanium slabs and feature 3D milling inside reducing weight and giving this massive folder perfect balance.

A hardened steel lock face insert with scalloped interface gives the knife solid, reliable lock up and is also an integrated over-travel protector. This knife is built to the exacting tolerances you would expect in a custom folder and it lives up to its UHEP designation. Jake Hoback has raised the bar on this one and everyone wins. Check it out now at GPKnives.com.
