New Jason Knight/Wilson Combat Collaboration

too bad they decided on a wood handle...or at least a brown one...I think something black would go better with the rest of the Wilson Combat lineup...

I actually agree with you.

However, it is a tough, tough call. This particular Supergrade pistol would look appropriately sweet with Jason's knife, but the fully coated, micarta handled ones maybe not so much.



The bottom line, as you know from the work that you collect, is that each piece must speak for itself, with it's own lines, finish and materials. The knife they are doing with Jason is fully finished in his killer satin, and I think that black micarta or similar synthetic would look wrong with it, just my opinion. African Blackwood would be AWESOME!

well it would have been a nice touch if wilson combat put out a 1911 with the same grips as the jason knight knife...Les Baer did this recently with both Busse and Emerson

ps-you really need some grips that cover the plunger tube..maybe blackwood to match your knife :)
 
Anthony Blackwood would look sweet.

The knife I mostly carry has a stag handle but that and blackwood have grown to be my favorite handle materials.

My clothes don't match but now and then my weapons do :D
 
Thank you all for having a look. I just saw the knife myself. Blackwood is my favorite too.
