man I wish I had the fundage, someone is going to get a STEAL on that beauty!
I really like your nail-nicks BTW, very clean.

been nine days, 569 hits and one comment. Is it the price the knife itself, the photos or just hard times is why this one is still here.

I think it is a great knife at a great price. If it was a 1/2 or so larger I would have bought it already.

here is my honest opinion since you inquired

i like the knife and it appears well made., it is priced competitively, but I am not interested in a non-stainless lockback. there are a few traditional slipjoints i might consider in a tool steel but they would be few and far between

I like the shape, blade grinds, nail pull and overall proportions of the knife, and the price is great:thumbup: However, the non stainless blade and lock bar is a deal killer for me on this type of knife as well. Also, not so crazy about the torx screw construction, but I could live with that.

Thanks for the feedback on the tool steels. It appears not to be the steel of choice in the folders. At least I now have more of an insight on what to offer.

Jim, my humble opinion: Beautiful knife!

I am only stopped by the economy, bills, and the necessity to pay bills.

Just saw this. And I have to say a lockback in O1 is exactly what Ive been looking for and hope that makers make more of them. Not sure why everyone wants stainless in a knife like that, but those are a dime a dozen.

People are really starting to hurt every where. I have lived in our home for 45 years. A few old time neighbors have some children back living with them. Only the best are staying in the work pool. Many are now under employed.
Those who have money will always buy what they want, but most do not have the luxury.

I have seen the designer steels come and go over my many years and eventually the makers and factories go back to the good stand-bys. I make very few stainless and like most follow the trends but mixing it up with the
01, 5160, 52100, and the w2,. Keep checking as I have 6 orders to finish up this week and will putt some more 01 lockbacks up.

I hear you Fred, I have seen good friends shut down their long term businesses this year in our little town and take on jobs 50 miles away. Some selling back their Moyer knives for gas money.

Jim

I received this knife and it is better in person than the pictures describe: just makes me look for something to go and cut. Thx
