As some of you may remember, back in January, I started a thread on surviving downsizing. I appreciate all the advice and support you guys here at W&SS provided. I particularly liked “Finding a job is your new job.” That one stuck with me, and I think helped me land a new job in a reasonable amount of time (2 months).

Recently I found a good deal on Vic SUPERTINKERs, so I thought I would say thanks, by doing my first giveaway. Since my new job is at a plant that makes pet and wild bird food, I would like to see you best wild bird pictures. Song birds, game birds, trophies from the hunt…whatever.

To enter, just post a picture. The only requirement: you must be a W&SS regular. On April 20th I will pick a number at random to determine the winner.

By the way, I know the SUPERTINKER is not the preferred SAK on this forum, but like I said, it was a good deal, and they are handy around the house…and I am not giving up my HUNTSMAN.

Congrats on the new job!

Here's a shot of some geese, can't remember if they were Canadas or Snows.

Congratulations on the job, I don't have many bird pics but here's one of my favorites, I call it Near Miss:

All good stuff, keep 'em coming.

I wish I had my camera this morning. A big Tom was strutting for a couple of hens in the front yard of an old farm house on my way to work. Would have been a sweet shot with either a camera or a 12ga.

I dont want to be in for the SAK. Thats a nice offer man!! Id like to see it go to someone else.

Heres a pic of me at the Buffalo River in arkansas taken almost exactly 1 year ago.

Congrats on your new position chewbacca!

I too had hoped you were giving away a new job! :D ;)

I wish you success and happiness for you and yours.

Here are a couple from my son's first trip to the zoo:

Everyone needs a pink flamingo

Thanks for doing this in W&SS!

It is my understanding that flamingos are pink because they eat so many shrimp, so I ask you, do you think flamingos taste like shrimp? Or pretty much like chicken?
