New Job!

Rob,

It is wonderful to watch you as you go down the path you've made for yourself. Good show. Good man.

Congrat's on the new job! I'm going to have some questions for you so be ready...I had a c-4 fracture three years ago and it still is giving me problems. I hope it's the start of good things.

"Besides I much prefer cattle prods for motivation--(I would say ball peen hammers but someone already uses that here) "
I have found that Geology Picks and Ice Axes have that same CALMING effect.

Maui.... The joy of victory and the agony of defeat....I'd guess you'll see them all.

Be positive my friend and wish you jobs well done ! :)

Thanks again for all the well wishes guys:)

Thanks Munk:)

Congrats Rob. Are you still doing the FD? I used to be a PT's Aide. When they ask for someone to help debreed a decubitis take a step BACKWARDS. Also debreeding burn victims is bad too. Those two experiences convinced me to drop Physical Therapy as a major.

Congratulations. Sounds like a good fit for you. Learn all you can. In the medical field, the more you know about everything the better it makes you at your job.

Congrats Rob... best wishes on the new venture. It is very cool when all things come together :D

Yes Rob, please become personally and financially successful. Then decide a change is neccesary and move out West. Sheridan is a nice town. Billings, Bozeman, Buffalo,...even Zortman.

Then we could have a Northwest Khuk Konvention.

Yikes! I don't think they do things like that at my office--sounds like MD work to me. I can't imagine why a PT would be doing that work on a burn victim in the first place:confused: Is that common?

Nope I'm not planning on the FD gig anymore--but if the full time force offered me a job I'd have to think long and hard before turning in down.

Would you accept bribes if someone didn't want to do their excercises?

You betcha!!:D I will also accept bribes to NOT massage people if you're interested;)

Thanks again for all the congrats and well wishes guys!:)

Yes, but am I any healthier because of your efforts?

Only if you get a deep sense of personal satisfaction from avoiding my attempts to massage you, while simultaneously supporting (financially) my quest to become an Uber human;)

Nope an MD will just refer a PT. It was kinda rare, but certainly occured. Only the senior therapist handled them. I'll tell the story if you want, but I don't want to rain on your parade, so unless you ask, I wont.

Its a very good profession, with nonexistant unemployment. If you ever want a new job just call a few therapists in the phone book. Fifteen minute job search for sure. Any city, anywhere. And as in engineer, no demand, I can tell you that is a damn good thing.
