I'm very pleased to see the two new Taiwan folders. They are very nice and I will be purchasing the flipper! However, Neanderthal that I am I would gladly pay at least twice for it if it had three letters on the blade: USA.

I have received the Taiwan flipper. It is very close to popping. However that being said I think put it more in the realm of pedestrian. The flipping action is not impressive. The coating on the blade is dull. However, most notable is the clip. In my opinion it is too small. However after all being said at its price point these are not disqualifying issues. Having said this if these issues were addressed it would be impressive. You listening Ka-bar?

Sorry, maybe a dumb question, but which folders are you referring to exactly?

thinks he ref'ing the mark 25 and warthog? but that's just a guess.....

I’m glad to see these are now made in Taiwan! Might consider the Warthog now.

Mark 25 is interesting looking. I'm wondering if it was built without liners or with small partial liners to keep the weight to 4 Oz. Not the prettiest knife, but tough and functional. I'm a fan of D2.
