New Kami Thamar Bahadur Dui Chirra for 7/31

You guys see that cho??? I think I have a new favorite kami. Love this style of bladework.

Auntie has another one for me! I am as happy as happy can get. Bless Auntie's kind soul. WOOHOO.....(doing cartwheels up and down stairs no less...lol)! At my age, forget the cartwheels, I'll just raise my arms up and down while sitting in my lazy boy...:D

Cool, so that's why I got the "done deal" after you had already posted the ems - she had more than one, just like with the baby CAKs and the dui chirras. I wonder what's next?

That is one gorgeous blade.

The Thamar Bahadur Dui Chirra also arrived today, along with the Yek Chirra. They make quite a pair! The top two fullers are deeper, but the blade below the second fuller down to the edge is still slightly concave, just not nearly as much as the top two fullers. Dui Chirra or Tin Chirra, whatever you want to call it, its a beautiful blade! This one weighed 23.3 oz on my scale, and the spine is around 11/32" at the thickest part, half way between 5/16" and 3/8". Just enough heavier to feel a little more substantial in the hand compared to the Yek Chirra. These two blades may very well become my favorite khukuris of the ones I've gotten so far. As soon as I can, I'll post up pics.
