New katana in the house! Ronin Pro Dojo #12

Just took delivery of my first katana, a Ronin Pro Dojo #12 purchased at the SBG store. Shipping was fast and the polishing and sharpness of the blade, along with all visible fittings are excellent, with the exception of the wooden pins in the handle being a little rough ended and protruding a few mm. At some point I’ll take it apart and sand them down a bit, no big deal.

I too am interested in a katana, May I ask what type of steel and how much did you pay for it?

1060 steel. Cost just under $300. I’m quite happy with my Ronin.
