These are some spotlight videos for the upcoming Kershaw releases. The Cryos are already shipping, but the rest will be released fairly soon.

I hope you guys enjoy. Cheers.

Thar she blows . . . almost.

That's pretty much the knife I was hoping ZT would build. Give it a 3" blade, a 4" handle, make it out of premium materials, incorporate a KVT pivot, keep the weight under 4 ounces, and stick a ZT logo on it and I bet it would sell like donuts at a Texas BBQ.

Hope springs eternal. :)

Had a G10 Cryo. Awesome knife! Had to let it go for financial reasons but the quality was great.

I have a G10 Cryo coming this week! Bought it from someone here on the forum.

Cool knife. I like mine quite a bit. I carry mostly ZTs these days with a Kershaw Blur or two sprinkled in, but sometimes when I don't want to carry a big heavy $100+ knife somewhere, the cryo will probably get the nod.

Have you seen the ZT 0566, it's the ZT model that is currently selling like ribs at a Texas BBQ. I'm not sure why you wish ZT would produce another hinderer collab, with very similar specifications, expecting that would sell like doughnuts at a BBQ. I'll admit it's been about a year since I was in a Texas BBQ, but as I recall people were lined up for ribs not doughnuts. If I were the manager of a BBQ I'd double down on ribs not doughnuts.

Because now that he can't complain about the 0770cf not being released, he's gone back to the old standard 'If only ZT would make a 3in XM18 under 4 ounces'.

Have you seen the specs on the 3" Hinderer XM-18?

I know. It's a ridiculous request. Why would anybody want to buy a ZT version of the 3" XM-18 for one-third the street price of the real thing anyway?

I just put myself on the list for an Elmax Blur with KershawGuy, and as soon as a G10 Cryo II becomes an available product, KG will be selling me one of those also.

Great vids as usual Stick! I will buy the Amplitude for sure. Seems like a perfect office EDC for me. I like that the blade and handle are bit wider than on the Leek or the CRKT Eros. Makes it a bit more robust in my eyes.

After watching the video for the Amplitude, you might be onto something. At the very least, it could ride offside, and keep my OTHER Rexford designed knife company, more of the small everyday office task knife.

I would love to see a US-made version of the Starter, but with S30V or Sandvik steel, and lighter materials for the handle..

Sign me up!!

You'll have to get in line, Schuey. ;)

No one who's interested in coming close to Hinderer quality in a Kai knife is going to be satisfied with a Cryo. The materials just aren't there. And for me at least, the 0566 is NOT the answer. With a blade length of 3.25" and a weight of 5.3 ounces, it's still too big and too heavy to qualify as a variant of the 3" XM-18.

The Cryo 1555G10 is proof positive that Kai has the wherewithal to build the Hinderer knife that's missing from the ZT lineup. And the 0770CF is proof positive that ZT isn't allergic to building lightweight knives. With that in mind, a 3" XM-18 variant with specs more closely resembling those of the original shouldn't be a question of if. It should be a question of when.
