Hi everyone. My name is Myron Ronis and I am the owner/operator of Dream Burls, a small on line store that sells domestic and exotic wood blocks for knife handles. I try to focus on burled woods, but deal in highly figured woods as well. I've been at this for about nine months now, so I'm still relatively new to this business and learning everyday. You can access my site at www.dreamburls.com where you will see on my home page that I offer volume discounts for sales of $200, $300, $400 and up and a money back, no questions asked satisfaction guarantee. I currently have an exclusive arrangement with handle maker Stefan Keller to sell some of his broad inventory of wood blocks. As an introductory offer to BladeForums members, from today through Friday I am offering a 15% discount on any purchase with the exception of Keller's Korner and my Clearance Corner. Just enter the coupon code "BLADE" when you check out. If you have any question, comments or suggestions you can email me at service@dreamburls.com. I look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship on BladeForums and I thank you for your interest.

Thanks to all of you who have already visited my site. Just a reminder that all BladeForums members will receive a 15% discount on your order by using the Coupon code "BLADE". This sale will run through Friday and applies to everything in the store except for Keller's Korner and Clearance Corner items. Volume discounts will also be applied by me when applicable.

Welcome aboard ; Post a few pictures of your stock here; A picture is worth a ------------------------------

Everything that gets stabilized is by Knife and Gun Supplies (K&G) in Arizona. They are one of the best in the country.

I wish you luck in this venture its a very tuff biz to be in, just ask Larry or Mark they will tell you how tuff it is. I did stop by your site it seems to be lacking some inventory at this point hopefully its a temporary thing.

Thanks Brett. I've known Mark for a while and he has been very forthcoming in providing me with insights and information. As for my inventory, you are absolutely right, it is a bit light right now, but I'll nevr carry as much stuff as Mark does. I do have a s..tload of blanks drying and some more that need to be cut and I'm hoping to get another load out to K&G this month. There are some really nice Australian burls in that mix as well as some Maple burl, Amboyna, Black Ash and maybe Buckeye.

I know it's a tough business, but it's one that I totally enjoy, not only because of my passion for burled and highly figured wood, but also because I really enjoy interacting with my customers and providing them with top notch service. I appreciate your comments.

Fred suggested I post some pictures of my inventory and that's a great idea. Let's see if it works. These are slabs that I'll be cutting into blocks soon. Some are dry, some aren't. Also a couple of older pictures showing some stuff already cut, but not yet processed.

No problem Larry. Everything is spelled out on my Homepage and Policies page, but I should have mentioned it here too. Thanks for asking.
