These things make Cold Steel seem downright reasonable. Someone please send @stabman one of the giant ones with the wooden handle for review.

They're not absurdly priced at least. Hardly a bargain, but even the big, silly:rolleyes: one is only 300 euro.

I'm late to the party on these, I know, but figured if I didn't know about them then plenty of others are probably unaware too.

They've been around awhile. They survive! spine whacks and baton like a champ  not to mention they have a cool name:thumbsup: I'd buy several.

(I don't know if any of that is true other than they've been around awhile, and no, I would not purchase them)

I am trying to decide if I think that locking mechanism is nice or just bizarre. It definitely is unique though.

You will need licence to operate this knife :D It's amazing what people can invent .............. :D
IF I make folding knife like this on sketch I can bet that I will faster lock and unlock blade in open/close position with this simple screw and will pass better in any test even Cold steel ?????????????

Still can not beat Cold Steel :)Now they need to make mechanism to lock the lock mechanism:rolleyes:

hard to not be impressed or like demkos tri-ad. if he wasnt tied to cold steel aka Lynn and his methods of marketing...I expect more would would be impressed.

What would be cool is if that side lever/finger guard thin there could be used like a trigger to flip open the blade

Eh. Seen worse. D'Estaing daggers/Folding Bowies are nothing new. Seem like a lot of moving, and pointy parts. Looks like they spent plenty of time on their logo.

I'll Pasadena without even checking out the price.

Change the name from Wild Steer to Mad Cow, have a crazy cow mascot logo...maybe wearing a backwards baseball cap and smoking a cigar....come up with a good lock name..."Quad Flex"....give out some free ones to select people (invite them to the shop too) on the forums who promise to call everybody else "haters" and they got something.

If I were in the market for a big ass folding Bowie, Hubertus would be my first choice. Plus Hubertus’s is an automatic! One of the coolest, most nonsensical knives I’ve come across. I need one.

But if you pull that lever to unlock the knife the blade would swing into your finger, no?

I actually like the one in the 4 th picture.
It's over done but I like it aesthetically when it's closed. It needs a different blade shape though.

Lol, the blade was "hardened" to 48 rc!!! Softer than any machete I've ever used!!!
