First the messy a$$ shop:barf:

The plazma

The sander, this thing works great for radius's.

The loot and then the man drill press:D

Now for the knife I'm working on, this is after I cut it out with the plazma, then ground off the kerf with a 4.5" grinder. I then put it into my cheap plunge cut jig.

Then cover the edge with paint pen, and scribe the middle.

Then start grindin

Took it down to 320 grit then hand finish later

More later

Thanks guys, I dont have much time to work on them during the week days but I will keep it up when I do work on it.

I just like the fact that your shop is almost as messy as mine :D

Cool-lookin' blade designs... keep us posted.

looks like you cleaned up to me . Lol. dude keep showing stuff i just learned a bunch from seeing a couple things you do.

Thanks a bunch guys. I'm still working on the drill press, that thing is huge pushin about 1200 lbs:D Got to get a new motor and some leather belts for it.

that design is awesome. i think we would like to see some of your finished stuff, thanks

where do you get those belts?

they look like 6x48, if so i cant find'em anywhere.

Thanks I will post some more pics, I usually put them in the pic forum.

The belts are 6x48, I get the belts from western tool supply here in Olympia.

got some more done tonight. I forgot to show how I got the handles situated at first.

Started by cutting out the ruff shape of the handle and then I put a couple of dot of super glue on the handles and then bound then together. Different knife but same gist.

I then used a huge bastard round file to cut the shape I wanted into the slabs.

I usually use alum pins but I decided that brass would look better in the application, and allot smaller pins too. The handles are not glued on yet, just a little bit of super glue to hold them on. I still need to finish sand and send out for HT.

Always be sure to chamfer the holes so you don't get cracks during HT

got this one done the other day, still needs HT though, hell of a sanding job:grumpy: I oil sanded it down to 500 grit. When I get it back from HT I will take it to 1200-1500 grit and polish it up:D should turn out tits

Love the way you do the handle, looks like it would feel really nice in the hand.
