Hi All,

Just finished this new knife design named the "Galileo" and forgot to post it.

Blade: 3.9" Nichols San Mai with CPM-154 core ( I did a polish core finish but changed it to black as it looks better with this finish). I free hand ground this with a hollow grind.

Handles: 6al-4v Titanium handles with a new melted glass finish. It's hard to detail in pictures but it's pretty unique, I added a cracked ice finish to the the edge chamfer.

Backspacer: 6al-4v Ti with milled pattern

Clip: Timascus free hand ground to shape

Pivot: SS machined with a pattern

Beautiful work, I'm impressed. Why no craftsman membership? You'd make a killing..

Thanks man,

I don't sell knives. All these are made to be given away. Maybe one day I'll sell a knife, then I'll get a knifemaker account.

Nice work. I like the sanded flats and the orange peeled bevels on the Ti slabs.
Did you use a belt sander on the flats or hand sand them?

If you just so happen to need someone to give that to, I think I might know someone. ;)

hey, get in line buddy he's giving me one first lol

Thanks in advance pittknife , you the man.

Whew! When I first scrolled down to the 4th set of pics I thought there was a big chip out of the edge, then I realized it was your thumb.:D Nice work!

The Ti is down with a heavy grit belt then polished with 2 different compounds and wheels, it's not an orange peel, it's more similar to a bark pattern.

Thanks everyone for the comments and support!

Nice. Thanks for sharing.
