The .44 mag is too much?
Have you ever fired one?
It's a nice, mid-powered round that is useful in a lot of situations.
But there are plenty of cartridges out there that are a TON more powerful... and more limited in their range of usefulness.

I don't think he's ever even held a firearm outside of a videogame.
 
I'd like to know his firearms experience.
Having been involved in the shooting sports for over 50 years; with most of that time spent with REALLY powerful handguns: the .44 is nothing to be scared of...

I've chronographed my hunting loads.
It'll fire a 220gr Hornady flat point at 2,350 fps.
Over 2,500 lb/ft of energy.
The .44 mag: about 900 lb/ft...
 
The for sale forum is for non user knives or ones I’ve found a better tool to replace them with. At one time I had a fair sized collection and have whittled it down to mostly just users. My thoughts were that others could enjoy the safe queens I had amassed and I would enjoy the users for the tools that they are. As others have stated to each their own it’s a personal preference.
